Vape kit protection features explained

You probably already have your own well-thought-through checklist of what you look for when buying a new vape kit. 
Some vapers are looking for power, clouds and customization options and opt for a variable wattage/voltage device. Others prefer simplicity or are looking for a super-compact kit that would be ideal for stealth vaping.
But there is one factor that most vapers would agree on — a vape kit needs to be safe. 
Most vape mods come with a standard set of must-have safer features like short-circuit protection, overtime protection, and others. But what do these features protect your kit from and why are they necessary? 
What is short-circuit protection?
Short circuit protection protects your device from excessive currents that go beyond the acceptable current rating of your equipment. As soon as an overcurrent is detected on your device, it will trip and break the circuit.
What is reverse battery protection?
Reverse battery protection is a safety feature that makes sure your mod doesn’t blow up if you insert the batteries in the wrong way — and this happens more often than you might think.
What is low voltage protection?
This is a feature that detects if the input voltage drops below a certain level — and if it does, the power will be cut off completely.
While overly high voltage could cause damage to your vape kit as a voltage limit for some components can be exceeded, low voltage can also be harmful. When the voltage is too low, some features on our kit may not work properly and this could result in malfunctions and various undesired outcomes.
What is overtime protection?
Also known as switch timeout protection, this feature will help prevent your device’s 
 coil and cotton from burning.
What is over-temperature protection?
Over-temperature protection makes sure your mod and battery work properly within the appropriate temperature range.
What is overcharge protection?
Overcharge protection keeps an eye on your battery and makes sure your dedicated lithium battery is protected against overcharge and damage.
What is over-discharge protection?

This feature keeps your battery safe from discharge and damage.
